Key Accomplishments

Since first being elected as Trustee for Clarington in 2018, I have focused on delivering results through collaboration, responsible governance, and strong advocacy for students, families, and Catholic education. I am honoured to be serving my fourth consecutive year as Chair of the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board, after previously serving as Vice-Chair. Working alongside fellow trustees, senior administration, parents, municipal leaders, and provincial representatives, I have helped guide important decisions that strengthen Catholic education throughout our region.

• Elected Trustee for Clarington (2018) and currently seeking a third term to continue serving our community.

• Serving my fourth consecutive year as Board Chair, following service as Vice-Chair, providing stable and collaborative leadership for one of Ontario's largest Catholic school boards.

• Successfully advocated for the construction of St. Cecilia Catholic Elementary School in North Bowmanville, helping address overcrowding and supporting one of Clarington's fastest-growing communities.

• Introduced and supported the Grade 7-8 annex solution at St. Stephen Catholic Secondary School, creating valuable classroom space at St. Elizabeth Catholic Elementary School while continuing to advocate for a permanent new school.

• Advocated for major capital investments, including the $11.2 million expansion of Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School, creating more than 250 additional student spaces.

• Served on numerous Board committees, including the Policy Committee, Committee of the Whole, Audit Committee, Catholic Parent Engagement Committee (CPEC), Faith and Equity Committee (as Chair), and various ad hoc committees that support effective governance and strategic planning.

• Continuing to advocate for additional schools, classroom expansions, and capital investments to ensure Clarington students have access to safe, modern learning environments as our community continues to grow.
